ET AL.

When he’s not filing assignments, pulling corks, or pushing the shutter button, Tesauro likes to tinker, craft, cut, paste, and compose other kinds of creative works.

Here, you’ll find side-hustles and just-because projects worth the spilt glue and lost sleep.

Faith Popcorn’s BrainReserve

BrainReserve commissioned Tesauro for a contribution to their 2018 zine exploring ideas of about where masculinity is heading, how it will impact creativity, and how men will participate in our society anew, personally and professionally.

In response, a provocative decree to men and wordplay for all that wends from 50,000 years ago to 5,000,000 years from now. All-caps phrases throughout are angagrams of FUTURE OF MASCULINITY.

Podere San Cristoforo

This biodynamic wine estate in Maremma, Toscana, is a Tre Bicchieri Gambero Rosso winner and was named Top 10 Coastal Tuscans by Decanter.

PSC commissioned Tesauro to pen playful labels for Vermentino and Sangiovese bottlings named after their beloved dogs, Maggie & Ringo.

STEEPED & S’OAKED

Rooted in key experiences with California wine, Tesauro composed this for Académie du Vin Library’s ON CALIFORNIA: From Napa to Nebbiolo... Wines Tales from the Golden State, but it ended up on the cutting room floor.

Sherry Week

That time Tesauro won the Sherry Week #SherryKu contest with a sextet of Jerez-hued haiku.

Back in the nineties, Tesauro paid his rent hustling backgammon in Washington, DC. When he lived in Atlanta, GA, he reimagined the game as a functional art object and crafted from exotic hardwoods an elliptical board with triangular pieces cut from Italian marble. He received a US Design Patent and then bartered with Master Tailor Gentleman Jim to trade a backgammon board for his first bespoke tuxedo.

PASTA FRESCA

Making fresh pasta is right up there with hot yoga practice when it comes to zen-state intentionalism. But then you eat it … with friends and family.

PAPER SNOWFLAKES

Every December, the Armagnac is poured, the scissors come out, and Tesauro runs through Xacto blades like mint in Mojito season.

GATE CRASHIN’ SUPER BOWL XLI

Two cousins made a pact as kids. When the time came to pay up, Tesauro got creative. He’d show you the ticket stub as proof, but ….
